Neebing Fire/Rescue Association was created over 30 years ago as an initiative to create an independent Volunteer Fire Department in the newly amalgamated municipality of Neebing, Ontario.
Early efforts included acquiring water packs and portable pumps to protect from grass and brush fires. Today there are 5 fire halls, 35 volunteer firefighters, and current emergency equipment.
