2023 was a banner year for fundraising and our final numbers will be revealed at our Annual General Meeting (Date TBA).
50/50 Cash Raffle
Neebing Fire/Rescue Association is pleased to announce that our first year of Rafflebox Raffles is now complete ( Ontario Lottery licence # RAF1291114). The 4th winner was selected by a random number generator on December 27th at 1:00pm:
The winning ticket was C-3692 and Dinia Pilot won $6995!!!
We just began Raffle # 5 on January 1st with a new Lottery licence RAF1361809. The draws will once again be quarterly and we have made some great changes. Packages of tickets are the same price but you will earn more chances. Tickets are 5 for $10; 30 for $20; 150 for $50, 400 for $100. Opportunities to purchase tickets with cash will be promoted. Watch for announcements on Neebing News and on our Facebook page. Thanks to your ongoing support in 2023 , NFRA has profited over $20,000 from the 5050. Annual Holiday Cookie & Treat Sale
The Holiday Cookie & Treat Sale was a great success and the place was packed! Thank you for coming out, for the weather being perfect and for all the donations of baking and prizes!
Here is breakdown of funds earned:

Penny Auction – 1058.00
Vendors – 40.00
Cookbooks sold – 135.00
Coffee donations – 16.05
Total – $2136.30
with a final profit of $2023.50

Presentation made to Chaschuk Enterprises at Neebing Council Meeting
On December 6th at the Neebing Municipality Council meeting, a presentation was made to Don Chaschuk, representing Chaschuk Enterprises Ltd thanking them for their 2023 contribution of 10 cords of seasoned, cut and split firewood to our 2023 raffle that profited $14,837.32! To date their contributions have totalled and astounding $65,852.

Donations at the landfills have reached an all-time high, your support of our raffles is unprecedented and a wonderful surprise, and you are there when we’ve asked for help. Whichever way you are involved, please know it makes such a difference.
Your input is vital; our ability to support Neebing Emergency Services depends on you. And thanks to you, NES is being equipped with the tools to keep us all safe, to be there when we need them. What you contribute is priceless when you know that, in an emergency, help is on the way and they are highly trained and outfitted.
